My house is 15 Minutes from the Basel City centre and the Rhein. There are two bus stops within a 5 minutes walk. In Basel, the second largest city of Switzerland, you’ll find restaurants, exhibition-galleries and over 30 museums to welcome you.
The place is ideal as a base for vacationing, especially since there are no more long-term free parking spaces in Basel-City available and a bus/streetcar pass comes with the accommodation. (Parking spaces by and near the house).

I offer 4 beds in 2 bedrooms (single occupancy possible) and there is a third room, most of the time the TV lounge, with a large sofa bed, which can easily become a third room. The top floor has its own bathroom, a large terrace and a breakfast corner for B + B guests. For long-term visitors there is a kitchen and possible dining room downstairs. (see photos)

The house sits on the rim of a soft hill overlooking the valley. Windows open to views or to neighbouring gardens and forests. Around the house slops a garden with benches and corners allowing various degrees of seclusion to sit and relax in.
After walking for half a mile or less you can enter forests, (one, with a plant and bird sanctuary) or walk for hours over intermittently open fields.
There are villages with partly historic centres nearby and you’re close to the Alsace (F) and the Black Forest (D). All is easily accessible by car or by public transport. (You’ll need the right Apps).

I’m mostly home, since I work as a rule in my office/ studio.
